Dr. Fretta is an internal medicine practitioner specializing in vein treatments and aesthetic procedures, with offices in Eatontown and West Orange, New Jersey.
Practicing for over 40 years, he has treated more than 45,000 patients for varicose veins since 1989 and was one of the first 14 physicians to perform EVLA endovenous laser ablation.
His work spans sclerotherapy, phlebectomy, Botox and fillers, laser skin treatments, PRP and Smart Lipo — bringing specialized vein care and rejuvenation together in one practice.

Does insurance cover varicose vein treatment?
Many plans, including Medicare, cover vein treatment when it is medically necessary, usually documented with a venous duplex ultrasound and your symptoms. Spider vein treatment for appearance alone is usually self-pay. We check your benefits before treatment.
What is the first step for leg pain, swelling or varicose veins?
A consultation and a venous duplex ultrasound. The scan shows whether your leg vein valves are leaking, which decides whether EVLA, radiofrequency ablation, VenaSeal, Varithena, sclerotherapy or phlebectomy fits your case.
Do you offer testosterone and hormone therapy?
Yes. Hormone care starts with a consultation and labs. Options may include testosterone replacement for men, bioidentical hormones for women, sermorelin and peptide protocols, with follow-up labs to monitor safety.
Are exosome treatments FDA approved?
No. There are currently no FDA-approved exosome products. We discuss regenerative options only during a consultation, including what the evidence does and does not show.
Which office should I book?
Whichever is closer. Eatontown serves Monmouth County and the Jersey Shore; West Orange serves Essex County and nearby towns.
